Safety
Our staff is trained and equipped with up to date equipment that complies with the Occupational Health and Safety ACT and its regulations. Our safety curriculum is designed to educate our employees to implement and comply with current workplace regulations, standards and codes of practice.
Our employees take part in regular safety meetings, where our staff discusses various safety topics, and contribute to new safety initiatives and ideas.
To achieve our safety objective, it is essential that our employees be continually trained and motivated to assume responsibility for their own safety, the safety of their co-workers and the general public.
To that end, our employees are trained and refreshed by courses sponsored by the NSCSA and other Safety Organizations.
Courses that are essential to our safety program are:
- Fall Protection
- WHMIS
- First Aid
- Aerial Platform Operations
- High Angle Rescue
We have been certified by the NSCSA.
We aggressively work to implement changes and updates to safety regulations that affect our industry.
We appreciate, as do our customers, the peace of mind that comes from well-trained employees who know how to do their job safely.
Each vehicle is equipped with the latest first aid kit, an ABC fire extinguisher. Additionally, all our employees are provided with material safety data sheets (MSDS) and are WHIMIS trained.
